MPIO SUCKS

DO NOT BUY AN MPIO ANTHING!!! Sure they look cool, BUT the software is really flaky (no it's horrible and will drive you crazy) and there is ZERO support from the company. Unless you want to listen to Korean disco on their website don't waste your time or money with this product.

Average player with some minor irks

This is the first MP3 player I've owned and its almost a year old...

Overall the player looks pretty slick with a nice mirror-like plate on the front. However the doors for the SD card and battery compartment feel kinda flimsy.

The sound quality is decent, and there is an equalizer though it doesn't really seem like it has much impact on the output. Unfortunatly for all you techno/hip hop fans the bass is lacking :(

I found that the headphones that came with the player weren't as good as my own pair, so I'm using those right now (SONY MDR-J11G)

Copying files over is done through MPIO's File Manager, in which you just drag and drop your music files, make new folders, change fonts, etc... and the USB speeds are ok.

The player's customizability is pretty good, you can change the startup animation, font (haven't tried it though), and other stuff like that.

There have been times when the player has 'crashed' on me, I find most of them occur when the player is in my pocket and I hold the play button too long to turn it on. But the player can be reset manually by popping the battery out and back in.

Decent player w/no power supply

I got my MPIO FL 100 player at Christmas, and I like its compact size. Controls are fairly easy to use (though they will take some time for novices). My biggest issue is there is NO EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY. You can't even get power from the USB port that is built into the device. Also, the manual is written badly (apparently it was translated from another language into English, but no one checked if the grammar was correct). Overall, it has some nice pluses, but next time I'll buy something better.
