Squirelly, but usable, not reliable

Frustrating programming menu. Power supply blew up twice. Now it stops recording at random, ruining the disc. Not too hard to use, once you get past the counter-intuitive aspects of the design. When trying to copy a camcorder tape onto DVD it keeps giving "recording paused due to copy protected source" message. So don't expect to put your home video onto disc with this beast. All you can use it for is to record TV shows.
