Excellent!

I bought my Bose 301 direct reflecting speaker about 1 year ago and I used it as front channel speakers for my home theater. When I turn on my receiver to listen to how it works, Wow! It sounds amazing! The sounds are crisp and clear even when I am using it for karaoke. The sound is consistent, very nice!

Don't be thrown off by the anti-Bose badmouthers who complain about these being cheaply built. read the web reviews and you'll find so many accounts of people with 20 plus year old Bose speakers.
As for the sound...if you have a small space that you want to fill with music, you need to listen to a pair of 301s before you decide.
