Had this Plasma for nearly a year now and have never regretted the purchase.
Quality in SD still blows me away.

I purchased this tv on 4.2.03. I purchased the stand instead of mounting it to the wall. The set up was very simple and straight forward. Although i was disappointed that there was only 1 component video connection but there is a DVI connection. The AV3 has the component video connection in which i have my satellite receiver connected to and when selecting the source i chose the ypbpr and it could not pick up a signal. I had to change the source to AUTO then it picked up the signal...hmm....The picture is great, clear and crisp. Even though plasma's have issues with black this one does a pretty good job. The high def channels are just incredible on this tv. the colors are very bright and very crisp. i was very impressed. If the picture quality wasn't good enough, wait till you hear the sound that comes out of this tv. I was very blown away of how great this tv sounds. The sound is just incredible.
Since this tv only has one component video connection, i had no choice but to connect my dvd player using s-video. I was very impressed with the quality of the picture. the picture wasn't shaky, the edges of words or images were very clean with no artifacts around them.
I still can't figure out how to adjust the color. The manual says one thing and what you see on the screen is something else. There is a color setting but you only get 3 choices. I like the remote simply because it is very simple and small. I tried to find everything and aynthing wrong with this tv so I can take it back and get my money back since it isn't easy to part with $4,000 but I couldn't.
