RIO customer serivce? What a joke

Ok, so I have to admit I have had my RioKarma for about 10 months, but I have had many, many problems with this product. The LCD screen keeps freezing up on me, and though I can fix it (most times) this is not the kind of quality I expected, further one day my Rio screen just froze, this time I could not fix it, I tried turning it off, and then I just pressed other buttons and nothing worked, I tried calling customer service, yeah a joke! Both numbers I tried I could not get through, but eventually I did fix it, if there IS real customer support I have yet to find it.

very good value for money

my karma is now more than 1 year in heavy use. and still i am really happy with it. great sound and real nice features (playlist creating on the karma itself without computer, great EQ). the only downside is the plastic feel of the case. but it makes it light

Over the long haul, it stinks.

Worked great at first, but problem after problem with software has made me start looking for another unit. I am unable to load any music - keep getting error messages. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall with no effect. RIO ITSELF IS NO HELP AT ALL. If they have real customer service, I've yet to find it.

Great MP3 player.

I've had mine for about four months now, and it's a great product. I haven't had a single problem with it yet, (not counting anything that was solved by firmware updates).
