Excellent system

I purchased this computer used to replace my Mac Mini 1.42GHz G4. This is a huge upgrade. The 64 bit processor makes easy work out of 10.4.10. I upgraded my system to maximum RAM of 4GB and put a Radeon 9600 Pro with 256MB of video RAM, and it runs very fast. Most applications (that came with OS 10) open in a single, to two dock bounces. This seems to be a very stable system, and you do not have to worry about a liquid cooling system leaking on you like other models! This system should power through MacOS 10.5 Leopard when it comes out with ease, granted you max the RAM and put a good video card in it. I have not had any major complaints with the system in 2 months. While 1.6GHz may seem slow to some PC users, remember this is a 64 bit model and it has the Alta-Vec. Very fast, still very relevant.

Just Amazing

Im a professional photographer and video editor. When the G5 was first released I was in awe. I went out and bought the 1.6 GHZ G5 and I can say it still performs like a champ today. The photo editing is flawless and it never freezes up. I see no need for dual processors because I think this computer is the bes ever release by apple especially with a 23in. Studio Display
