Not a "Shackleton" item
by Armand on Jul 5th, 2005 at 4:09 AM:
Hey on the upside I've been reading alot more. Bought the TV in January 2004 and it was pretty nice while it lasted. It began turning itself off about a week ago and got moodier and moodier until now only the little green light on the front panel illuminates making me think that something might happen. So, in light of the fact that they can make an intelligent grown man sit in front of it hoping that Gunsmoke will magically appear, I will give it a 4 instead of a 0. Endurance was obviously not one of it's strong points, Shackleton would have heaved this thing over the side. Lasting little over a year is a bit ridiculous as far as I'm concerned.
"Miss my picture!"

Up until about a week ago I would have given my tv a 10. At 2 years old my picture has just up and gone out... tv turns itself off... etc. Looks like this might be a model problem according to research I have done this weekend.
Wonderful picture

This tv is great, bought at best buy also, has the connections you need.
This TV produces some of the most vivid colors that I have ever seen. Very true color and the sound is very good for only 2 speakers.
Easy to set up, wonderful picture

I have a 12 band EQ, home theatre, and digital cable going into this TV and it took me more time to get it out of the box than to hook everything up. The sound is great (true stereo) and the picture quality is the best I have ever seen
