An incredible value

This unit has classic Yamaha build quality and a very attractive amber front panel display that is dimmable. I haven't listened to the analog output yet -- I run the unit's optical output into a separate stereo D/A converter pair. The digital out is as clean as a whistle -- I can't detect any dropped samples or artifacts due to error correction. The unit will play CD-Rs. The remote is well-designed... very comfortable and natural to use. In this day where there are scores of lousy products out there, it's refreshing to find such a gem. If you want a carousel CD player, buy this thing!! (No, I don't work for Yamaha.)
