Excellent Unit

User Score: 10.png I recently purchased the 7200T over the Garmin Nuvi 765T and Magellan 4350. While both competitors has some interesting points, I found after extensive research that, feature for feature, the 7200t was the best value. At almost $175 cheaper than the next, I got add-free traffic that is full featured, fully functional voice entered address (you have to train it in the environment your using it in to work best - i.e. going down the road!), a more substantial mount, tech support that actually knows what they are talking about and is very interested in improving your experience, auto day/night, Exit Guide to show me whats at teh upcoming exits with a single touch, and best of all, a display that shows teh street your on (hint-hint Garmin!!) as well as the upcoming street to turn on. Spoken directions are clear and concise with proper advanced warning of turns and dead-on accuracy when saying "now turn on...". Though some spoken names sound a bit funny, they are ALWAYS discernible.

Graphics and animation are first rate and not "cartooney" like the others, and best of all, I have complete access to almost every imaginable option (I like the level of control!) There are even 3 "shortcuts" you can set to search for the nearest gas station, ATM, restaurant, etc. at a single touch.

My only minor complaint is that you have to make 2 clicks to show the map, no one...big deal! Oh, and as a final note, $52 on Amazon ($79 retail) gets you 3 years worth of map updates, 12 in all, one each quarter! How can you beat that??

From the folks who make most of the factory in-dash units for all the high end rides (BMW, Mercedes, Porche, Audi, etc.) I think this unit is the best deal out there! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, it DOES NOT show photos, play MP3's or show movies. It's a GPS for crying out loud, not a personal entertainment center. (so why slam it for that?) Just my $.02!

Exelent product

User Score: 8.png I think that the navigon is an exellent GPS, you get more than what you pay for. I bought it for $249 free shiping from Amazon. While is true that have some issues especialy with bluetooth I thilnk that they will be corrected in the near future.

I don't now any GPS manufacturer that don't have to correct several bugs after they lunch a GPS model for the first time, after years of launchonf a gps model they are still correcting bugs.
