When new, it was all we wanted in a CD player, but as it got older, it seemed to wear out faster than expected. Had it repaired once and it worked for about a month and then quit. I think the "brains" are shot this time as it will pick up a disc and then say no disc installed. We have owned it for about 7 years, so that isn't too bad. We got our money's worth but like everyone else I expect things to last forever. Oh well.
