Comparison to Studio II

You state that the alternative "Studio Edition II" model does not have RAID-1 capabilities, but that is incorrect: the Studio Edition II comes configured as RAID-0 (striped) but can be reconfigured to be RAID-1 through the software. So for Mac users, the Studio Edition II is a much better bet.
Not what it should be

I love the price, but it has issues.
The case is really cheap feeling, the light on the front is way too bright. I can't believe it only has a USB connection, with 2GB of storage, it needs eSATA or something faster.
