afforadable and dependable

User Score: 8.png I received the Mio Moov 310 for Christmas and took it on a trip through Florida. I was there for over 9 days...the unit worked almost perfectly. Very dependable...had just a small amount of trouble finding certain POI's and sometimes entering the info. The unit took me all threw the state with no problems. The pre-loaded voice speaks loud and clear and is light enough to be held but not so bulky that its uncomfortable in your hands. My only complaint was a home charger is not included in the box, my saving grace is that my sister has a Navigon unit which uses, by coincidence, the same charger that connects perfectly. Once the unit was charged I was hands down happy with it and would recommend one to someone searching for a budget friendly unit. It's a very dependable, user friendly unit. Definitely do not buy a unit with out at least giving this model a long hard look.

Horrible GPS unit

User Score: 2.png I received a Mio GPS for xmas, and I've never had so many problems with a GPS system before. This unit randomly shuts down mid route (multiple times in a short drive) and starts up again to the demo mode in some place in Florida. I live in Chicago, so that does not benefit me. It will also shut down mid route and restart displaying where I am, but losing my route and destination, as well as losing all my preferences. I have a friend with a TomTom that never has these problems, and it is very easy to use. The touch screen actually registers your finger, unlike my Mio where I have to push the screen rather hard for it to read my finger. As well as the TomTom has no problem re-routing, and is quite fast. My Mio does not like it when I do not take the chosen route it told me to go, and will then re-route me in an obscure direction that will get me further away from my destination, or do circles till I find a road to go the opposite direction. I do not like that fact I cannot see much information on the side of my Mio like you can do with the TomTom. So yes, I am going to get rid of this useless GPS unit and get a TomTom because I know it can actually do what I expect a GPS to do. If it was possible to give the Mio a negative score, I would be more than happy to give it negative stars.

Great GPS will be market leader

User Score: 10.png Upgraded from a Mio 310x to the Moov310 for just the larger screen. New features really make this a great GPS with traffic condition notification and auto route around traffic conditions.
