Nice compact video camera

I have used this camera for 6 months and found it very easy to use. The camera uses the flip-out screen as it's only view finder. At times this can present a problem in bright outside conditions but overall, the camera is a joy to use. The picture quality is ok when compared to my older Samsung 8 mm camcorder. It makes for a great way to create some nice memories. I use a DVD recorder/ burner to transfer my files from the camera to a DVD. This way gets you a "master" disc to draw infomation from and by-passes the use of down-loading the info into a computer (stuff that will be burned back into a DVD anyways). Once you get past the way you have to access the controls on the screen, the camera in nice to carry with you anywhere. I would recommend getting a larger battery and carring case. The larger battery gives greater shooting time and the case will help protect the camera.
