Good phone with a couple short coming
by M. Grennet on May 5th, 2008 at 2:19 PM:
Overall the Blackjack 2 is a great Smartphone, its small/mobile and works as advertised. My main gripes with the phone are with the build quality... when pressing the keys on the qwerty, they don't feel like they're giving quite right, and the call and hang up buttons sound like they are squeaking a little bit when I push up and down on them instead of directly down. Despite these problems (which plague just about every Smartphone w/ moving keys)... it's a great device.
Disappointed

My initial excitement about the Blackjack II waned as I realized every time I tried to send an email I received an error message. Judging from the Internet traffic, this seems to be a common complaint. Now, I'm extremely disappointed and hope I can exchange for a reliable smart phone.
Not the best but it's good.

I just received the Blackjack II and it's not really what I expected. It's pretty and has a lot more features than most phones and that's about it. I love using the internet on it though and the messaging. But before I purchased it, I read reviews and now having the phone it's not what I expected. But it's good enough for me.
Don't waste your time

I use the Blackjack II for work & personal calls. I am dependent on email & internet use on my phone. BIG LET DOWN. Despite advertisements stating the Blackjack II will send/receive email, has internet access & other helpful functions- this phone is useful for nothing more than a paper weight.
I unfortunately switched from the Curve to this hunk of junk 5 months ago. Since then, I have had nothing but problems. I have several friends with this same phone and the same problems.
AT&T WILL NOT EXCHANGE this phone for another (unless you want to pay an additional $200-$300 for a phone that DOES live up to its spec sheets) so save yourself the time. When you see this thing on the shelf- RUN THE OTHER WAY.
