Nice Drive with lots of space
by Larry on Jan 15th, 2008 at 12:59 PM:
I have the 500GB model. Plugged it in and saw the new drive right away. It comes as fat32 so I reformatted it as NTFS. Has 465GB free after format. Seems pretty fast for USB drive. I didn't mess with installing TurboUSB because I don't know what it does and hate extra drivers. It must optimize the data going thru the USB to the drive to be able to get more speed. I like the case which is very sturdy and quiet. I might purchase the optional fan though to keep drive 7 degrees cooler for longer life. Overall it's nice drive. I use true crypt so not using the encryption software that came with it.
Hard to Understand

I consider myself an average geek, but I could not understand what all the directions are all about, or even find if I could save all my Kodak Pictures into the system.
