Worst Drive I bought in Years

Had the drive for 33 days before it died. Buffalo Tech support had me update the Firmware and I lost all my data. Tech support are nice but don't seem to know their own product. Lost days of time, backup and now I have an RMA drive that I won't use as a backup because the drive is AWFUL.
RUN, don't walk from this device. Drops off network at will, is horribly slow and Customer Service is rude.
Really bad choice will NEVER buy a Buffalo Tech device again.

I got the 500GB model at frys and it worked out of the box great.
I got the Vista patch and it is doing just what is was intended to do "hold my back up files".
