Awesome, but......
by Jimmy on Dec 4th, 2007 at 2:00 PM:
Awesome MP3 player, definitely the best gadget you can get your hands on ATM. Although I strongly disagree with your point on the head phone jack, if you go from holding anything, phone, MP3 player to put it in your pocket, you put it in upside down. You have to physically rotate the touch, or your arm (to a VERY uncomfortable angle) to get it in your pocket the 'right way' up.

I admit to being an Apple fan boy, but I was skeptical about the touch when I first heard about it. I mean 16 gigs. I have an 80 gig iPod. What is this 16 Gig tiny little thing? My concerns were unfounded though when I got one in my hands. 16 gigs isn't all that bad when you realize just how much that is. I fit a lot of music on there, and a couple movies too.
The funny thing is I use it more to surf the web than anything else. I hear that Apple is opening up this device by publishing an SDK. That means even more stuff I can play with.
I was also wondering about the scratch factor, and was happy to find that the main screen is glass. It takes more to scratch glass than plastic, so I am hoping this one does not get any micro-scratches. Well that's it for now. I am giving this a high rating because it does not suck, and it does more than I thought it would.

P.S: I have pudgy fingers and the keyboard works just fine. Even if you screw up the text correction feature works just great. No Problems.
