Like Kashmir i've owned my system (Z-560) for quite a long time now. And I must say they still sound the same as when I bought them. Quality and performance are spectacular, and I just love to hear that sub thump!! Simply an Amazing Computer Sound System. A definate MUST HAVE!!

They are really good quality ! and the price is just soo cheap ! I had one problem with them once (after over a year of having them). I moved them to a mates place to watch the big game and they stooped working. I figured it to be the fuse in the end. Got the right type and now it works perfictly !
Nice, but a bit defective

I've owned the Z-560s for about a little over a year and a half now (bought them in Novermber '03) and I've got to say, they're incredible. Super loud bass, super crisp highs, nice mids. They're enough to piss off roomates, even with the bass turned all the way down in Windows AND on the control pod, while listening to The Doors. Yeah, they're that good.
Anyway, after about a year I started having issues. The front-left channel blew on the amp. I tried every Z-560 satellite I had in the channel and it just wouldn't go. I never really abused them (I'd crank them up almost as high as they could go a few times to show people that their $80 Creative Labs and Harmon-Kardons really weren't that good), so it kinda' baffled me that it would just stop working. Oh well, now I have 3-1/2.1s, as I hooked my would-be front-left speaker into my front-right channel. Still work great, still bassy, still awesome response, and the speakers don't distort for anything...
Great box

I'm happy to have the speakers. It's been 4 months now since the purchase and I' ve found no drawbacks so far
