Waste of money

After using the PPC-6800 for 2 months, I am finally getting Sprint to replace it with a Treo. A month after buying this Smart Phone, I found myself having to reboot it at least every other day. The battery lasts less than 12 hours on standby. Using the phone for roughly 2 hours, I was at less than 25% of battery life. The casing began to pull away from the keyboard making the camera button useless. The sliding keyboard looks cool, but the keys are too close together, causing lots of typing errors. Also, having to use both hands to type something is difficult with 2 small children. I usually have someone sitting on my hip, leaving me with only one hand to type. The antenna is not strong enough. It dropped a call when talking to Sprint about the problems I was having with it! I do like to Windows software over the palm OS and have requested my Treo with the Windows OS as it is much more user friendly (provided you don't mind a few extra stylus taps). I would have expected much better quality from a smart phone with this price tag!
Style and Performance

The Sprint Mogul (PPC-6800) is definitely a major step up from the Pocket PC 6700. I was an owner of the PPC-6700 and loved just about everything about it; The slide out keyboard, the camera, and the Microsoft 5.0. However there were a few flaws with the PPC-6700. The battery life was not very good, The bulky antenna which housed the stylus sometimes got in the way, The stylus barely fit in the antenna and I found myself replacing stylus after stylus. The new PPC-6800 still has the slide out keyboard, the bulky antenna being eliminated improves the overall handling of the phone, the upgrade from Microsoft 5.0 to 6.0 is amazing. Although I am not really a frequent user of the camera and video camera; there is a major upgrade from the PPC-6700 1.3 Megapixel to the PPC-6800 2.0 Megapixel. I definitely reccomend this Pocket PC
