Not Doing What I Was Promised
by K Buckley on Apr 6th, 2008 at 10:04 PM:
When my husband and I purchased these phones we were told it was capable of texting images and video. We found out later that we can only email images and video. Bell Mobility Canada is working on a Beta program to allow this function. What frustrates me is that this phones user manual says it can do this function but apparently Bell changes it when they get theor hands on it. I can't return them even though its been 6 days since purchase because we used more than 15 minutes of air time. I think they used that just demonstrating them to us. We are currently trying to work out a deal to get some satisfaction but my husband is not happy with the phone at all.
A consumer Beta phone

I purchased this phone earlier this year and within a week I had to do several resets. The phone would freeze up on me constantly. I returned it for another within the 7 days, and the second one did the same thing. I lost data input constantly. I finally got tired of trying to convince myself as to why should the consumer constantly have to do resets either soft or hard and lose data in the process for an item which is severely flawed! To anyone purchasing this phone, please don't convince yourself that weekly resets are a part of ownership; because you're not helping the manufacture to produce a working product!
Good idea, poor implementation

I bought the Touch about three months ago for the Bell network. A quick summary of the problems are that the volume out of the ear piece is horrific, the Bluetooth constantly turns itself off, allowing self mating with a ear piece or car impossible, the windows software is very buggy, I could not sync it with my Mac, and the buttons are VERY slow to respond from input.
It seems like a good idea, but the engineering of the product fell on its face.
I purchased a Blackberry pearl yesterday to replace a 3 month old phone.
