Don't believe the box

I got the box home, no software inside. I went to the site to download the driver, and the site didn't have one for Mac. There were technical issues going on on the page anyhow, so I called them to find out what to do.
I was told that the printer was, contrary to the false advertising on the box, NOT compatible with Macs. When I asked why they'd say it on the box, then tell me I couldn't return it because I'd broken the seals, they had no good answer.
Crappy customer service and false claims on the box. If that doesn't make you distrust a company I don't know what will.
