Almost Satisfied

Great picture, great sound but......once in a while for no apparent reason, the screen goes black then comes back in about a second. It's highly annoying and it seems to be doing it more frequently. Anyone else have this problem?

Best Bang for money

I tried Toshiba SD6000 for a month, everything was fine with the unit but later based on a friends recommendation, I tried Pioneer DV-400V. Image quality is superior than my toshiba and it has lot of audio options built-in and also the video quality is adjustable. Black level in pioneer is superior to any other player that I have seen and I don't see any difference between the upconversion from my pioneer and a HD/DVD player. 1080P upcoversion is awesome in this player. Good player for less than $100.

I love it .

Disappointed

I bought a Samsung 1080P loved the image, but was having troble with the unit. 1st on the tray got stuck all the time, 2nd unit the movies frozed, so decided to try Pioneer DV 400K. Image quality is terrible, you can see a lot of noise and spewcs. My regular non upconversion DVD did a better job. Will probably go back to Samsung 1080p7. Image is a lot superior
