Will never buy another HP computer ever again!

User Score: 2.png I am an advanced computer user so I know what I'm talking about when I say that HP makes crappy computers. Even my computer tech friend says to stay away from HP from now on.

We have had to send in two HP laptops for complete rehaul - both were less than 3 months old. Now we have problems with the HP Slimline! Hewlett Packard gives the WORST customer service I have even seen. They held onto our laptop with excuses that they were backed up with repairs - took us over 2 months to get it back from sending in for repair and then we had to threaten to sue them if they didn't get it fixed and returned. I spent HOURS on the phone fighting with them to get this done and they always made excuses. Then we had to send in yet another one of our HP laptops for repair that was barely a month old. System Recovery disks did not work - and they had to completely rebuild it - so BEWARE! They make faulty products, do NOT want to uphold extended warranty and will do everything they can to make your life miserable with dealing with them. I will NEVER buy another HP computer again!

A piece of junk

User Score: 2.png I am an advanced computer user so I can say after 3 HP computers, one desktop and two laptops, that my husband, who is computer illiterate, bought all three of them and that I will never own another HP computer, ever. HP Slimline lasted only a few months until things like the hard drive, CD drive stuck and failed and we have had to replace other parts that should have lasted a while.

We have two HP laptops that have had to be sent in for complete rehauls that were only a few months old after bringing home from the store brand new. Had to fight with HP to get one of our laptops returned, excuses from the top executives when I couldn't get anywhere with customer service and they said that too many computers to repair to get ours done. Threatened to sue them after two and a half months when they would not return our fixed computer. HP has terrible customer service, does not stand behind their extended warranties, does not care if customer is satisfied after purchase. Never, ever will I buy anything from Hewlett Packard again. If I could rate this zero I would.

Problems with computer

User Score: 4.png I've had my computer less than one year. I've done a system restore that doesn't make it work. Then I was told the motherboard was bad. Then I was told the hardware was bad. Then I was told that it was my video card. I'm now using it but it has a very slow start up and it continues to freeze.

Excellent computer!

User Score: 10.png I bought an HP Slimline in February of this year and have not had a single problem with it! Computer is fast and efficient. Will be perfect for me when I go back to school in the fall.

won,t play my battlefield 2 game

User Score: 6.png Why won't this system play my battlefield 2 game. This is insane that this computer can't play a game with low specs. I think I want my money back unless you have a suggestion.
