Failing DVI port with this monitor

Monitor less than 2-years old.
DVI port failed. Other monitors with the same DVI cable work fine on my computer. Gateway unwilling to repair monitor, even if I pay for it!! They say "will not work on out-of-warranty monitors."

Outstanding image quality, Very Very bright and vivid. Sharp contrast and color. Some backlight bleeding issues but to be honest I hardly notice it. High marks for build quality and super cool LED feature buttons that disappear when not in use. Almost every input you will ever need with the exception of HDMI. Absolutely zero ghosting. I am an avid gamer and i have never used a better monitor including my old 19" trinitron. Nice features like Picture in picture and 2 conveniently located USB 2.0 ports on the side of the monitor. I recommend that you get the optional stand from gateway wich gives you height and rotational adjustment. The rotate option is nice for viewing web pages. Overall very happy with my purchase. I have had the monitor for 3 or 4 months now with no problems whatsoever.
