Poor workmanship and even worse customer service destroy good concept.

LG shipped a lemon. I'm fine with that, things happen. Unfortunately they are totally unwilling to correct the problems. Two boards have been replaced to fix the cable card (not much point in having the DVR if you can't use the channels) 6+ months. They lied and delayed, telling me it was the cable company's fault. We I have the same cable card...hmmm. So I get to eat the 6 months of paying for the cable company's DVR. LG's response, LG doesn't respond.
Green artifices have started appearing one repair and still a problem.
LG is the worst customer service experience I have ever had.
I will never buy an LG product again.
