Excellence

I have owned this drive for 2 years. It sits next to me in an external USB enclosure. It contains by backups and storage files such as music and videos. I monitor it through SMART. It has been not only silent and fast, but has shown zero degradation during this period of heavy use. I trust in Spinpoint drives over all others.

Perfectly fine

Nothing wrong with this at all. Had it for just over a year and nothing wrong at all. Fast for an ATA drive. Quiet, and reliable as far as I can see since it's Samsung.

Crashed too much

I have had this product for almost two years now. It has crashed several times so I have lost the information in it, it sucks.

Rubbish - broke down after less than a year

Part of an external Hard disk Package (Tevion 400GB), the hard disk failed after less than a year. Rubbish.
