Awesome Camera!

I just got mine yesterday and it is a huge upgrade to my 300D. Takes pictures way faster than my old one did! I love it. The larger display on the back is great since I had a hard time with the smaller display. Pictures looked fine on the small screen until you put them on the computer. I like the feel of the hand grip, it seems like there is more to hold onto than the 300D had.

8 months of use since Dec 06 and very impressed with the results

I'll not repeat what others have said about the 400D (UK ver) except, don't bother with the standard 50mm lense, very poor compared to the camera.

I purchased the Canon 17-85mm IS which has performed very well with the 400D. Also, have the 70-300mm for those long shots.

Just added the battery pack/grip which improves holding the camera (due to it being a little on the small size) and gives it a more solid feel, plus much longer battery life (holds two batteries or 6AAs)
