Low light rooms?

by George Suelzle on Nov 27th, 2007 at 10:21 AM:

I've been using the C-750 and then I moved up to the E-500 because I was having problems taking picture in rooms with low light. I thought the E-500 would do better but it still has a problem locking on a shot in dark rooms. The Cannon 30D just shots away where the E-500 would never focus in the dark room where the Cannon 30D is taking pictures. If anyone has some advice let me know? I'm also using the Olympus FL36 thinking it would help communicate better in dark rooms but it doesn't help. I lose lots of shots where the Cannon 30D can shot just fine.

My wife and I are going to Cuba in January and need to get some more good shots so let me know how I can improve on the shots in the low light rooms.

Thanks, George

This is an excillent camera and the reviews do not it justice at all. I own a Nikon D80,

leica V-Lux1, SD900, powershot s5 is. This is a bargain while you can get it.

buy the older 40-150/F3.5-4.5 it is way better than the space saving new model lens that is slower.
