Useless Because of Software

by D James on Oct 3rd, 2006 at 9:58 AM:

I have the 1Gb Sony machine and it's excellent although the Sonicstage software is a real "belt and braces" affair. Still it works – just about.
However, with the 2Gb machine, the software will not allow me to place the tracks from different CDs together in the order I wish. Great, if you like to listen to classical music with movements in effectively random order. I had a set of Beethoven piano sonatas from 12 CDs and spent a frustrating four hours trying to get this to work and gave up in disgust and anger. I wished I had had a Sony designer with me so I could vent my feelings with my foot !
Rang Sony who could only suggest that the machine had a glitch, and suggested replacing it, which I did. Result was the same. I returned the machine for a refund – not fit for the purpose.
Sony will be going down the pan if they continue producing this type of quality.

When I first bought this player, i found out that the sound is very good. The only bad thing was the software: SonicStage is awful!!!

But I have found VoidMP3FM software.
And now I can upload my MP3 files rapidly! VoidMP3FM is absolutely free!

You can download it from: www.drvoid.com/voidmp3fm
