Great feel
by Joe on Aug 7th, 2006 at 2:51 PM:
Some people can review because they have felt, played, and shot the camera like I have. My field of work is with digital photography and I was invited to a special event with the Alpha. All I can say is that the camera is exciting. All the features are wonderful and the pictures it takes are amazing.

Ok, how does Alex rate a camera that has not even been made available for to the public? And only some magazines have JUST got for their reviews???? Sony says that it will come out August 18th or so.
My rating is a one since it MAKES you enter one......

My review on Sony R1.
by JEFFVU on Aug 16th, 2007 at 10:33 AM:
People still haven't gotten used to the term image stabilizer in camera body yet; it's the latest technology, its beats and will replace all image stabilizers in lenses. Another word all lenses mount on Sony A100 will be stabilized, including my cheapo 85$ Quantaray 70-300mm is very very sharp vs. Nikon and Canon IS and VR thousand of dollars lenses, what would you buy?. I think Canon and Nikon are having issues now. Besides Sony color are wonderful, the sharpness is on top, very neutral grey balance, good high iso at 800 with expectable noise. I'm very happy with Sony, I preferred Sony over Canon and Nikon at this time. Not to mention if you buy a Sony A100 you can buy tons of diff lenses like: Sigma, Tamron, Tokina, Quantaray, Minolta, and Sony for it including Zeiss the best choice in DSLR up to date.
I preferred A100 over my last Canon 300D and Nikon D50.
Sony is coming out with their all new DSLRs soon. I'm all excited about it.
