Logitech mm28

This is a great little speaker. Can't handle too much bass but can get very loud. If you have an iPod you can turn the EQ setting to Bass Reducer and it sounds fine, especially against a wall or in a corner so it can have a bit more bass sound.

I find this an exceptional portable speaker system

If you have wall outlets everywhere you go, and don't mind lugging around a set of 30 pound speakers and sub woofer, maybe this speaker system isn't for you. If you want good sound in a truly portable speaker, than this is the one you want. Battery powered speakers that are compact and sound nice. I just bought mine for $25 and consider that a steal.

While this particular model does lack features (volume control) it performs very well. I have tested a variety of different speaker options for my i-pod. At this price level (on sale $35) I don't believe you can find a better basic portable speaker.
