Rock solid

this is my first DVD writer, and it left me with awsome impression since it didnt damage the first half dozen of cd's or dvd's like my old on did,in the matter of fact it wrote perfectly from the first DVD till now with no casualties at all, worth every penny

Crap

by Pigeon on Feb 20th, 2006 at 3:04 PM:

Doesn't work with Windoze 98 - not even as a reader - the OS just doesn't know the drive is installed. It works fine in Linux, but I bought it for my dad and he doesn't use Linux, he uses 98. That's the last time I buy any Sony peripherals. Wankers.
