Best Card Ever

I have had my 9800 pro since 2003 and I must admit it has been the best card I have ever owned. Graphics are unparallel, but I have to deal with a lot of buggy issues through the TV aspect of it. It has gotten better with the newer drivers, but not completely bug free. But all-in-all I am very pleased. I will now be using my 9800 Pro with my 65 inch DLP so I am very happy. Thanks again ATI.

Good card but to many bugs

I drove myself nuts with this card. It's a good card but I stopped using it for TV and just use it for gaming. To many bugs even with the latest drivers.

This is my 3rd AIW card. I keep thinking that the new versions and drivers will finally stop it from crashing. After missing the French Open this morning because it crashed while it was recording I am finally resigned to selling the card and looking into something that works.

excellent picture , good sound

THe problem is does not seem to able to output the edited video to vcr . There is no problem capturing or editing input from vcr .it gives a picture of desktop as the recorded output

Their idea of customer service is disgusting . Spent 1.5 hrs at my expense for less than 10 minutes of talk time tech . their view was the problem was at my end.

They do have email support for registered users but is crap. as it logs out after a few minutes After you finisn the email,you cpoy & paste the message agter relogging in.
Still waiting

It is true that card does not support satellite .


Great Video Card

I have had my 9800 AIW for over a year now, and I must say it has served me well. Going head-to-head against a GeForce 5950 Ultra it would almost always be a step behind, but with the newest (6.14.10.6505) drivers it is running without a hitch - besting my brother-in-law's 5950 in 3DMark 05 tests. I have a had a few cards (ATI and Nvidia), and I must say this is my favorite.
