i gave my mother a 1gb bean for christmas and she love's it.so easy to use and the quality in sound is just unbelivable,the battery last so long she can hear her tracks over and over again.the fm tunner reception is excellent,and the display is very clear,what i like most is the variaty of formats it can play,you can really put lots of tracks in 1gb,the coolest part of this device is the way the usb conector is hidden, thats just cool. im glad i got her this sony bean.
