Very good for price

I paid this laptop 620$ Add some memory and it has decent performance. The compaq had handiccaped the CPU review above is by far the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Your cpu speed is cut in half when performance is not needed. Jim Brown, you suck buttocks
Compaq has handicapped the CPU

The Sempron is rated at 1.5 GHz, but Compaq is sending them out of the factory set at 800MHz. I suspect that this is being done to limit generated heat.
The display, on the other hand, is outstanding; bright, clear, vibrant and large.
