Do Not Buy

I bought one of these and had good intentions of using it, but did not use it for about 6 months. When I tried, it will not recognize my DVDS. Returned it to the store, got a replacement, brand new and it did the same thing. Do not buy this recorder.

Need help

I am trying to find a manual on this thing, have yet to record anything on it. Seems like it either doesnt like me or my DVD's. Would not recommend buying this item at all. To hard to find help.

My power supply has gone out.

I've had this thing about 1 Year and recored on it about times. The power supply is has a high pitch whine. Do not buy.

Help i have just bought a cyberhome dvr 1600 and i can not get it to work with my SKY plus box does anybody know the idiot guide to setting up the cables to the TV and Sky box please

Buyer beware

You get what you pay for.

When the machine works the quality is great. *However* it is very very fussy about discs - having tried several named brands (TDK, Verbatim, Fuji) I have to conclude that it has significant design flaws. Disc initialisation fails frequently, and more annoyingly, often when finalising a DVD+R, making the entire disc unreadable.

Disc errors occur about 20% of the time.
Don't buy this machine if you want to reliably record stuff.
