Maps need updating

I purchased a Tom Tom Go700 in 4/07. I live in a big city. It seems that Tom Tom doesn't update their maps often. It works great but we have new roads here that were created five years ago and the maps do not recognize them. I spent $240 additional to get updated maps and the same roads were still showing as non-existent. I wish I could try a Garmen to see the comparison. If you don't have the right cell phone for the hands free option, then you might as well get the Tom Tom Go510 and save a few dollars. Outside of that, I really like the Go700.
