I have had mine for quite awhile now I've gone through several hard drives and I'm upgrading it slowly but I need to know if it has agp 8x or regular AGP.
Terrible

Ran super slow out of the box.
Cheap parts, won't work unless you upgrade the video, the drive and add ram.
slow

Love my computer but recently I keep getting a message that virtual memory is very low and I guess it takes from my ram. Not really understanding about all this and don't know how to fix it. Other then running real slow and the virtual memory thing I have no other problems. I hope...
Not bad for the price

Bought the computer just over a year ago from OfficeMax for about $325.00, after rebates. I've loaded it with all sorts of additional software (some of which is pretty massive and processing intensive), and use it exclusively for internet purposes, including maintaining an art website. Had a problem with prolonged boot (it took about 15 minutes to completely boot the system), but solved the problem by disabling Microsoft's Automatic Updates - svchost was hogging the system during boot. Also adding .5 gig RAM greatly sped up all processing (it came with 256 MB). Basically, the sr1500nx runs like a champ . . . except that the monitor has an occasional flicker. I think the flicker is due to something in the video processor. When I put the computer to sleep, after it's completely warmed up, and then try to wake it up again (within a few minutes), the screen stays blacked out. Letting the unit cool down (about 5 - 10 minutes) before waking it up seems to remedy the problem. My guess is I've got a bad or weak component in the video card, and eventually, that component will burn out, and I'll need a new video card - no big deal, since good video cards are now fairly cheap. I think the problem is a fluke and not indicative of the sr1500nx in general, because all in all, it's been a very reliable and fast system.
