Well worth the money

It has a very decent contrast ratio of 800-1 which is in the upper range for similar units. Also it has 60,000 expected hours on the backlight which is exceptional. The design of this LCD monitor is simple and fits on my glass top desk as though it were designed for it specifically. LCD TFT are the best you can find. They have good color, good greyscale reproduction, and fast response.TFT LCDs represent the cutting edge in flat-panel-display technology. They are the best technology yet developed for Active-matrix displays. Displays using this technology are getting lighter, smaller, faster and are consuming less power than was ever possible before TFT technology was introduced.
This unit is very reasonably priced for what you get. When you can afford a plasma this unit makes a great den or bedroom TV.
The only negative is the bulky and poorly designed remote. My fingers have a hard time with some of the buttons. The size almost prevents it from getting lost...LOL
