Kodak CX7330 Battery Door
by JAMES on Jan 4th, 2008 at 1:48 PM:
I also have a CX7330 where the battery door will not close. The battery door is made of cheep plastic and the part that latches broke.
Mine is out of warranty and Kodak does ask for too much to repair and if you decide not to have it fixed they charge a fee. I have two Kodak cameras that had the same problem. I won't buy a Kodak product again.
BATTERY DOOR

I PURCHASED MY CAMERA A LITTLE OVER A YEAR AGO. NOW THE BATTERY DOOR DOESN'T STAY CLOSED UNLESS I USE HEAVY DUTY TAPE. CALLED KODAK & THEY WANTED ME TO SEND THE CAMERA BACK WHICH WOULD COST HALF THE AMOUNT OF WHAT I PAID. NO EXPLANATION GIVEN.
I DON'T THINK I WOULD BE AS UPSET AS I AM BUT OUR GRANDDAUGHTERS GOT THIS CAMERA ALSO AS A GIFT, THEY HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. KODAK TOLD THEM IT WAS MISUSED. MINE WAS NOT MISUSED.
THIS IS THE SECOND EASY SHARE CAMERA I HAVE PURCHASED THE FIRST ONE JUST STOPPED WORKING. A CAMERA STORE TOLD ME THESE ARE THROW AWAY CAMERAS! KODAK CAMERAS HAVE BEEN IN MY FAMILY AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER, MAYBE IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE.

Buy from a different company; you'll be glad you did.
