Is not worth its value

This camcorder is simply horrible. I bought it in some sort of rush. I was looking for a nice, affordable, and complete video camera with a mic out jack, and this one happens to have one. As soon as I started using it a few days later, the problems began. First on the playback of my videos, pink squares appeared on the screen probably a CCD prob. Shots with low light would give show red grain on screen. And last but not least I didn´t use it for about a month, leaving it in its CASE, now the camera looks foggy, but there is no way to eliminate the fog. It seems like some other problem with the CCD.
Long story short, I regret paying for it.
CCD problems

This camera has many nice features and comes with good DVD software. Problem is that Samsung has CCD failures causing fuzzy video or complete black screen of death. Many people have had this problem with this model. It's not an isolated event. Buy something else. Samsung won't do anything for you if you have this problem.

bought it for a great price, and absolutely love it. this camera is an all- around great deal.
