I bought my 80Gb PS3 recently and I am surprised about the quality of this great console. Amazing sound/video performance and love the black design with matching chromed trim :D (mine's got this). I have recommended it to all my friends :P
For it's abilities, the cost is appropriate

Let's remember, or if you don't know this, the games themselves is where the companies make money. The console for what it does is essentially worth the price, even if it stays at it's present level after the christmas sweeps.

I have had my PS3 60 GB since 2006 and I have had no problems with it. I think PS3 is the best console ever made.
