Nice Job Microsoft
by John Davis on Oct 22nd, 2008 at 10:46 AM:
I love my 360. Every one has complained about the RRD. I personally have never had this problem. Why? You need to keep it cool. Place it on a hard surface and dont stack anything around it. Then it's fine.
Should have bought the other one

I was very excited to get the xbox 360, but after having problems like I did with the first Xbox, and having to send it back to be repaired, and then hearing everyone else's story.....I'm going back to the PS3 with a quikness!
Xbox live is great, not the actual box
by Adam on Mar 26th, 2008 at 10:58 AM:
Everything you are allowed to do with the Xbox is great, customization, super graphics, online play is super fun, the live marketplace is nice too but the actual machine that allows you to experience these things SUCKS. I got the RRD, it took Microsoft 2 months to return; they sent me back a modded Xbox back .I played on it for about a month when I was kicked off of Xbox for having a modded Xbox. I could not see how it was modded though, nothing unusual. I kept calling them for about 3 days until they said that they investigated it and it wasn't modded, now-a-days it runs like it is about to explode and I get disc read errors all the time.
Red light repair
by Katie on Mar 11th, 2008 at 10:55 AM:
The average time for the 3 red light repair is 1 month. The average amount of times to send in the console for the repair is 4 times. Microsoft sends out used repaired consoles in exchange for 3 red ring consoles. The repaired consoles come with a 3 year extended warranty, but the warranty is ONLY for the 3 red rings. I received my console back after the FIRST repair for 3 red lights. Within 2 months the console broke now with 4 red lights. Microsoft says the problem is not warrantable.
