Its an amaizing headset
by Varun Sood on Mar 19th, 2006 at 12:18 AM:
It has very very good sound quality. I simply love it. I am writing this review after using it for more than a year... took me long..
Volume control is not that durable.. but quality is amazing and speakers are reliable and durable.
best headset for the money
by kerygma on Oct 13th, 2005 at 12:57 PM:
This headset is by far the most comfortable headset with the deepest audio range in the sub-$20 price range. You would have to go 2-3 times that to find the quality in another set.
And, no, the mic is not meant to be chewed upon or drowned in saliva. That WOULD affect the performance of the mic and goes to user error and not to the rating of the qualit of a fine audio device.
probably the best headphones

These were probably teh best headphones i have ever bought, I do alot of online gaming and I have tried alot of headphones including the surround sound $100 headphones. These by far are the best you can actualy clear crystal clear .. its not muffled.. during gaming the directional noise is awesome. you can hear foot steps form a great distance away and pinpoint exactly where they are coming from..
Mic stopped working
by b_mcmillan on Aug 21st, 2004 at 5:14 PM:
After one month the microphone stopped working. Actually, if you yell into it some sound will transmit.
At the time my son was 1 yr old and he would pull the cord until it fell off the desk onto carperted floor. Also, he would suck on the foam tip. I expected this and was hoping the mic would last longer.

Good when new, but fragile
by Daniel on Aug 12th, 2009 at 1:52 PM:
But it's my second headset.
The mic on the first set stopped working after some time. The left speaker delivers lower volume and malfunction, both can be solved if you set up the volume button and find the point where it works properly.
I thought that was an isolated problem, so I bought another brand new Plantronics .90.
After a year or something, I have the SAME problem with the new one, so I can't play my games well because I can't find correctly where the sounds come.
I'll buy a Senheiser.
