Junk

I agree, this little unit feels rock solid, and all of the buttons are in just the right place, perfectly designed...ergonomically speaking. As to function, that's another story altogether. If you're the type of person who likes to have to re-calibrate your controllers every fifteen minutes, then by all means, throw your money away on this unit. As it will give you nothing but grief, and don't expect any real support from Logitech either. After the third email explaining that their latest suggestion to fix the problem still did not work, you will get no further response.

Perfect! Very good controller

I have always wanted a controller like this. Runs like a PS controller and feels very good. Precise movements and controls.

I didn't even install the software that came with it. Windows XP recognized it perfectly right out of the box.

Simply the best

I play a lot of games that don't support a controller and this is where it shines the most IMO. Those who are FPS fans (or games controlled with the mouse) will like the ability to map not only mouse clicks but the 360 degree mouse movements as well. It supports 2 commands per button and it can swap the left analog stick and D-pad actions when needed. If you have calibration issues, download the latest software and install. Take out 1 battery. Hold down buttons 6 & 8 together and place the battery back in. (IMPORTANT - do NOT touch the analog sticks at all while inserting the battery and do NOT let go of the buttons until the battery is firmly in place) If it's still messed up that means you bumped one of the sticks, try again. Once it's calibrated right it shouldn't give you any more problems. Bottomline - solid. It's comfortable to hold and use for long, long hours of game play. Worth every penny.

almost but not quite

The pad is somewhat good...had its p2 feeling feels like but big overall problem with calibration actually had 4 2 wireless and 2 wired. all of them had one or the other joystick decalibrated downwards. Not recommended to someone who wants something concrete and that you don't want to replace.

a very good quality product.

i bought this controller because it looked and it was on sale, i really didnt expect much, at first i also had a little calibration problem, but i think that was my fault, and i quickly fiixed within 1 day. the gamepad itself a very durable, and smooth feeling controller, it is almost like a ps2 layout of the 360 controller. the buttons are extremely solid, and they have a nice push to them, the analouge sticks are also pretty good, they sort of feel like the xbox analouge sticks, the d-pad is also well done, it is like a mix of the sega genisis and the 360. The main thing that makes this amzing is how far and good the wireless is, i could play the game from downstairs, while the coputer was upstairs. I recomend this product a lot.
