The psp is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I bought mine the day it launched and haven't thought about putting it down. I have no dead pixels like everyone is talking about. It'd flawless. Watch out Nintendo ds.

Only for big pockets

Well,I'm European, and of course I was able to put my hands on the PSP only thanks to parallel import...What can I say? The stuff looks and plays good, but I'm still quite anxious to find out what the "real" european price will be...It already cost me an arm and a leg to purchase the japanese version, but if things go the way they usually do, the PSP is gonna cost a fortune to european players! That said, there are other things: PSP is NOT a media portable center as SONy claims it to be. I mean, no memory (unless you want to spend another big chunk of money on some Memory stick), strange way of dealing with videos, and what is more that damn UMD format...I can understand SONY is not willing to encourage piracy, but those UMDs suck.. Last but not least: I asked my usual retailer a guess-price for games in the european market, and the answer was between 50 and 60 euros, that is more or less 55-65 $!! That's foolishness!

So, if you're willing to waste a lot of money on the newest gadget in town, go for it. If not, look for something else...
