I Love This MP3 Player

I cannot fault this delectable piece of technology. Shame on those who doubt it, little do they know what they are missing. P.S Try to use the correct software otherwise it will freeze. LOL . Good Battery life, Good Quality sound.Robust enough to survive everyday life. Light weight miles better than my Ex MP3 (Ipod video 80GB) I suggest the 20 GB version as it is excellent to use and fast transferal time. Overall a spiffing ( Very Very Good ) MP3 Player recommended to all
A satisfied owner for several years

Having owned the iRiver H10 for over two years, I am happy to report that it is still working great. While the 5GB hard drive may be small by today's standards, the iRiver has been continually releasing firmware updates to keep the software running smoothly. In contrast to many iPod owners I know, I have never had a hard-drive failure or other mechanical problem with the device. The only drawback to this player is that it was one of several devices that were supposed to work with the Microsoft "PlaysForSure" certification -- a concept Microsoft may soon be leaving behind, as the Zune does not even carry this certification.

This h10 is a piece of crap. It always freezes and i have to do a data base refresh about once a week, which this refresh takes about 4 hours. Wmp fails to recognize it a lot this thing is a piece of crap. Thank god I bought it at best buy and have a warranty on this thing I can send it back for a voucher and maybe get a decent mp3 player
iRive H10

Im running Firmware 2.51 with no issues!
Also, I love my iRiver H10 20GB way better now, since I found the trick switching from crappy Mass Transfer Protocol (MTP) - to Universal Serial Bus Mass Storage class (UMS) mode which is recognized as an external HDD. Thats what you want! So that you can drag & drop Music onto your H10 easily, knocks out all the complications and enables a bit more freedom. The trick to switching from MTP to UMS for HDD recognition is simple. Just follow this link for all the details ppl: http://easyh10.sourceforge.net/ums_and_mtp.html
Also, using the EasyH10 software easily updates your iriver 20GB and enables safe disconnect from your usb port after updating. Check it out!
I figured this would be helpful for all the iriver lovers out there. Have Fun! No worries! No problems! Im not sure if theres any new firmware running out there but 2.51 works great for mine.
