great stereo speakers from Cerwin Vega

I've owned 4 of these speakers for 10 years now and I can say without a doubt that these are some of the hardest hitting tower speakers ever built!!!In fact if I hadn't switched over to surround I would still be using them as my main speakers in my livingroom(I now have them in my bedroom and they hit even harder in the smaller 12x16 foot space).I run them off a Denon stereo amp pushing 240-w at 4ohm per channel and they just bang like crazy(registered 123dB)at 25Hzs using a SPL meter in the middle of room with each firing toward the center).Not the cleanest sounding speakers but great for normal TV and music use.Do wish they where video shielded but we can't have everything.if you have these you won't need subwoofers(though I run one just the same).

GREAT sound quality...AWESOME value for money, robust design, crisp highs and deep lows. I've enjoyed every second of them

By far, the oldie but goody, the best sounding bass at a reasonable price
