WOW!

Running it into my Samsung DLP at 720p with the supplied HDMI cable produced fabulous results. No 480 line DVD looks like true HD, but digitally remastered Star Wars looks as good as in the theatre. Older DVDs with sloppy film transfer look predictably less well but that isn't the player's fault. The remote is a little finicky, needing to be pointed directly at the player, but who cares. Also, manually set the front switch to HDMI or you won't see anything. Highly recommended.
