Good on looks but Sucks big time on performance
by Amar on Oct 16th, 2007 at 4:09 PM:
I have recently purchased the combo set of logitech MX 5000 Series which includes the keyboard MX 5000 and MX 1000 laser mouse.
I was fascinated by the idea of cordless, and thought bluetooth would be good over RF signals...but to my disappointment the MX 1000 mouse sucks big time on performance. I am using Windows Vista Ultimate while using it i find the so called MX 1000 to laggggg......big time ......while playing the cnc3(command and conquer i get so huge lags i keep on losing.) So overall good looking mouse and bad of performance. I am thinking of getting myself a razor mouse.
Mouse skips badly for me

Really like the design, but found that it is now skipping and slowing or stopping, no matter what settings I use. Driving me crazy. Even using a special mouse pad.
Great Mouse

I have been using this mouse for over 1 year and it has never let me down.
It is great for Video Editing (SONY VEGAS) and writing music (LOGIC).
This mouse significantly reduced discomfort I was enduring using el cheapo mice causing carpal tunnel syndrome.
The recharge cradle is great. If you leave it off for too long (3-4 days.. it might lose it's charge.
Great Mouse Bad Rechargeables
by Cameron on Oct 14th, 2006 at 10:01 PM:
I bought it, really liked it, but after about 3 months it wouldn't recharge. Logitech replaced it and I've been happily using it for about 8 months and now find it's not recharging fully. As far as everyday use, it's great, however, whatever Logitech is using for the rechargeable batteries is the weak link.
